Indecision 2002
That’s right guys, it’s our last meeting of the semester and that means that those officers who weren’t impeached are up for election.  Anyone interested in the following positions should check out the website and fill out an application:  Internal Vice President, EOH Chairs, Publicity Chair, Corporate Relations Chair, Social Chair, New Member Chair, and Service ChairIf you want more information on what each position’s responsibilities checkout the website or email the current officer.  Members who haven’t been on the board before and younger members are strongly encouraged to run.  It’s a great way to become more involved in ASCE.

ASCE Social E vents
Donut Day and the Spring Bar Crawl are fast approaching, so prepare yourself by checking out previous bar crawl pictures at the ASCE website.  Donut Day will be Wednesday, April 10th from 8 to 10 in the Crane Bay.  Super CEE shirts will be available for pickup and purchase.  The Spring Bar Crawl is Thursday, April 11.  The schedule will be unveiled at the meeting, so stick around.  Questions?  Email Julia (jmachuca@uiuc.edu).

CON-crete Canoe
Regionals are April 26-28 for both the Concrete Canoe team and Steel Bridge.  Concrete Canoe will continue meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm in the Crane Bay.  Over the next several weeks, we will be sanding the concrete on the mold to a smooth finish, painting the finished canoe, and constructing and then decorating the display like a jail cell.  Good luck at regionals!  If you have questions, email Gen (glong@uiuc.edu) or Mel (mkwhite@uiuc.edu).

It’s Not Exactly Rocket Science…
…But that doesn’t make it easy.  Steel Bridge has only a few weeks left before regionals so help is needed.  If you are interested in becoming part of the construction team or have any other questions, email Nathan (nholman@uiuc.edu).

Big Brother/Sister Night Pool Night
…was a hugely popular event thanks to Brian’s planning.  Even though the little brothers and sisters didn’t show up in large numbers, it was a success due to the dedication of the big brothers and sisters.  We will be having Big Brothers/Sisters next semester so email Brian (bdekker@uiuc.edu) if you’re interested.  Big and little brothers and sisters are welcome.

Thanks for making it one of ASCE’s best semesters ever!
